Mrs Bird's Class

“Be kind to one another” Ephesians 4:32

The Reception / Year 1 class teacher is Mrs Bird and Miss Toner is our Teaching Assistant.

Our class Bible quote is “Be kind to one another” Ephesians 4:32 and the children are encouraged to live out this quote throughout the day.

Here are a few details to help you with your child’s learning:

Children’s book-bags are an important part of communication – please make sure that they are in school every day and check them each night for letters or messages.

Please hear your child read every night and practise any tasks that may be sent home. We enjoy the rapport from home as you write to us in their Reading Diary, so please let us know how you think your child is progressing.

P.E. days are Wednesday and Thursday. Please make sure your child has their PE kit in school every day, we will return them for a wash at the end of each half term.
